Comments We had an outstanding week of diving with Living Underwater. Gustavo led our first two days of diving and Jeremy led the last three days. We had our own group of six divers and the divemasters tried to take us to less crowded sites so we were almost never with other dive groups. Because we had one newly certified diver, we were taking it easy with depth and current. Jeremy, especially, was really attentive to her needs and offered her many tips. None of us had dived with steel tanks before and the divemasters were terrific in helping us adjust our weights accordingly. We arrived a couple of weeks post-hurricane so the visibility was not what it can be in Cozumel but we saw tons of turtles, small critters, and lobsters. We got to watch a lobster-octopus battle that was incredibly cool. We saw black tip sharks one day and a young nurse shark played with us for about 10 minutes on another dive. We rented a house in town which was economical (around $1500 for the week) and comfortable, if a bit run down (the pool was great, however!). Overall, another fabulous week in Cozumel. We look forward to diving with Living Underwater again!
