Comments My 7th trip to Cozumle since 1981. 6 boat trips w/ Living underwater 2 w/ Aldora. Living Underwater wins HANDS DOWN!!! Dove 2 of the same sites with each. Punta Sur w/ Aldora missed the drop point, had to kick long way against strong current at depth... last 25 minutes of dive drifted over gray limbo at 35 ft in strong current BORING !!, 45 to 50 min max - w/ Gustavo we hit the spot got to the drop off by swimm through canyons (blocked current!) came back thru beautiful coral, color w/lots of fish, 1hr+ of bottom time (no gray limbo). I am a NUAI Avanced Diver since 1980 and had just dove in St Martin and Saba ( Aldora was clearly made aware of this) Aldora packaged me 1 day w/ a family w 2 kids under 14 w<20 dives then the next day w/ a couple in their late 70's!! My feeling is that Aldora is "used to be" operation...never again for me. Living Underwater knew the drop spots, found them fast, are the 1st boat on the site. The VERY BEST DIVEMASTER/GUIDES(Jeremy and Gustavo)- that is what I am paying for, ANY OPERATOR HAS A BOAT AND TANKS.. In 28 years of diving I have NEVER had such consistant quality and care. THEY ARE FUN TO DIVE WITH!!. Asked the the divers what they wanted to see that day...Cookies, fruits & parkas after dives, Sit out between dive at beach cafe w/ photogenic momma crocodile. Packaged me w/ a GREAT group of experienced divers. MAX bottom time (and not over gray limbo) I was a better diver and learned a lot about the local sea life by the end of the week - if you watch and listen they can take you to the next skil level. Living Underwater- the very best..to a metaphysical certainty!!!
