Comments Had an absolutely wonderful time diving with Jeremy Anschel and his team - Living Underwater. They are one of the small, fast boats that picked me up at my hotel and got us to the dive sites within 15-20 minutes mostly before many of the other operators. We avoided the rush of dozens of divers in the water around us. Jeremy only takes out small groups of divers, 6-7, which improves the experience.

But, what's most important? The experience of the dive masters to find sea life. We saw fantastic eagle rays, only the second time for me in almost 30 years of diving. We saw 1 cm seahorses as well as the sharks, turtles, eels you'd expect in Cozumel.

It took me a bit of time to get used to the larger steel tanks Jeremy uses and the swift currents this season has in Cozumel. But, the extra bottom time and ease of drift diving made up for my inexperience with the conditions.

Some other features made the interval time. He has windbreakers for the trip after we get out of the water. He also provides snacks and water on the boat. Since interval times are long because of the extended bottom times, we stopped and nice beach rest areas that served food (for payment). A great way to meet and get to know your fellow divers.

Because Jeremy's boat was filled on some of my dive days, he hooked me up with Liquid Blue Divers run by Michaela Velasco. Even though I dove with 2 operations, the partnership between Jeremy and Michaela made my dive days seamless. They took care of my gear day on day and I was just picked up by a different boat. I'll write a separate review for Liquid Blue in case readers search each operator.

Had a great time!
