Comments As fairly new divers, my wife and I, who are senior citizens, were concerned about a small operation such as Living Underwater and its ability to accommodate our experience level with that of more experienced divers. We were not disappointed in Jeremy, his crew, or the dive experience. I dove 3 two-tank dives, and my wife did 2 two-tank dives; she developed a head cold not allowing her to dive the last day. The first day we dived with 4-5 more experienced divers who pretty much dived on their own. We remained with Jeremy who was very helpful. The second day my wife and I were the only divers, and Jeremy spent a lot of time with us with regard to achieving neutral buoyancy, improving our diving skills, etc. We really appreciated this. On the third day, I dived with a mother and her two sons who appeared to be early teenagers. On this dive, Jeremy led the first dive, and another divemaster the second. All of us remained together on these two dives.

My wife and I are not nitrox divers, yet we were able to dive in excess of 45 minutes on each dive, sometimes over 50 minutes. In fact, on one dive, which was just to 30 feet, we dived for 66 minutes. Jeremy was careful to ensure our nitrogen levels did not approach deco-dive status, which never did occur.

Overall, I give Jeremy and his crew (Roberto and Francisco) an A+. They took care of our gear daily, washed and stored it, and had it ready for the next day. Water, juice, and snacks were on the boat at all times as well as appropriate safety and emergency gear. The surface interval took place at a small beach area where there is a restaurant available if you want. Sometimes, people just sit on the beach in chairs provided and rest. We will definitely give Jeremy a call when we return to Cozumel.

The Sabor Adults Only part of Wyndham's resort receives mixed reviews in the Chapbook, Trip Advisors, etc. Our experience was very good. The restaurant within Sabor specializes in Asian fare for dinner; it has a separate menu for breakfast and lunch. We ate there most of the time and were not disappointed. We also ate at Roberto's and one other place located in the main Wyndham resort area; both were just fine, not bad to us as opposed to reports from some who have eaten at these locations. We did not eat at the Isla buffet at all. While we were there for our 5 night stay, some of the Sabor guests did state that the Isla restaurant was good for breakfast but so-so for lunch and dinner.

Our room was a first-floor terrace room with a pool and slide to the main pool right outside the back door. Our slide worked great; 2-3 of the other slides accommodating other Sabor buildings were not quite as good. AC worked great, room service was good (but late one day), staff was friendly, and drinks good. Overall, our experience at Sabor was very good; out of 5 stars I would give it a 4. My wife gave it 5 stars.
