Jeremy not only runs a top notch dive operation but is a unique divemaster who seems genuinely interested in maximizing your experience diving with him. His crew members are top-notch boat handlers and extremely friendly. The boat itself is spacious and well set up compared to many other Cozumel small boats. The most significant difference from many of the other operators we have experienced around the Carribean, however, was the emphasis on lengthy dives through the use of high capacity steel tanks and on the quality of the extra time the tanks made available. Even in a current, the pace of the dive was methodical and you come away feeling that you saw all the stuff you could have seen. The divers on the boat each day were all experienced and many had been diving with Living Underwater on previous trips. I'm sure, however, that newer divers would also have a great time and learn a lot. The Presidente is a great place to stay, with a nice pool, natural beach and decent food. Cozumel deserves its reputation for hospitality and great restaurants. |
