Comments This was our first visit to Cozumel since before Hurricane Wilma, 7 years before. We found corals and dive sites to have recovered nicely with a proliferation of soft corals and vibrant turtle life, many spotted eagle rays & excellent fish life in general. Dive master Javier is a terrific and sensitive guide, as well as extremely competent. Jeremy Anschel continues to run a first class dive operation and the big steel tanks make for long and pleasant dives. Boat support was excellent throughout.

We stayed at the budget alternative Villa Blanca and enjoyed its kickback atmosphere and close proximity to a pick up point by Living Underwater. We prefer "old Cozumel" without the cruise ships, but VB provides some isolation from street traffic and crowds.
