Comments We've dove with Jeremy several times now, and wouldn't think of going with anyone else, when in Cozumel. There is plentiful fresh fruit, pastries/rolls and drinks for between dives, besides stopping at the beach bar for your surface interval. His boat is fast, and he starts earlier than most other operations, to get you to the southern end of the island, where there will be fewer divers, as well as different things to see. He has steel 120 tanks, which allow you to dive for much greater than an hour per dive. This trip we saw a squadron of spotted eagle rays repeatedly come back around to us, when hanging out at Punta Sur. He is also great at pointing out macro life. I was most appreciative on this trip, for the parkas, which really helped on the windy rides back to town.

Villa Escondida is a fantastic, small B&B in town, within walking distance of nearly every great restaurant, the downtown square, and the town pier where Jeremy will pick you up for diving each morning. Magda makes fantastic authentic Yucatan breakfasts, and both she and her husband, David, are very welcoming and friendly hosts, giving advice on things to do, and places to eat. They only have 4 rooms, but each is very roomy, with a king bed, and large walk-in shower, and there are places to hang out your wetsuits to dry overnight. The courtyard is beautiful with lots of plants and open space, and there is a small, beautifully clean pool to relax in, as well as a common room to visit with others, or just keep your drinks/snacks cold in the refrigerator.

UW Photo Comments They have a fresh water tank for cameras to stay in between dives, but this is a small boat, and a land based operation - compared to the Nai'a in Fiji, where I last was diving. It was fine for a small, fast boat and day-dives.
