Comments Whenever my wife and I dive Cozumel, we book with Jeremy at Living Underwater exclusively.

Most important to me is bottom time. During this trip, we averaged about 1 hour underwater in 10 dives over 5 days. I have never approached that much bottom time diving with any other operator anywhere.

Jeremy is just Zen as a dive master underwater. He focuses on the clients and if they are comfortable underwater, working with them on good buoyancy. He can find amazing small (I mean tiny) seahorses, pipefish, and of course larger creatures. He moves so slowly and calmly that he improves divers because of his style and demeanor. There is no rushing, no clock watching, no fighting the current.

The dive boat, Jewfish, is fast, (twin 120hp outboards) rides like a dream, it’s spacious, covered, well laid out and designed. You back roll out with easy access to handoff your gear after the dive. A large ladder and crew to handle your gear make the exits simple. You have a seat cushion to sit on, bottled water before and after the dive and snacks between including fresh fruit. They usually do a surface interval on the beach at a club. Dry towels and coats are handed out after each dive. This is valet service and they take care of your gear, help you get your gear on. You hand off your BC in the water to the boat and climb out unencumbered. My wife and I really enjoy how easy this makes diving and since we are on vacation, the unhurried atmosphere.

Jeremy has had the same crew for years and they work like a well-oiled machine. They are very service oriented. They make you feel like part of the operation with smiles and a positive attitude. In my opinion, this is the best operation in Cozumel and one of the best in the world.
