Comments This was our 9th dive trip to Cozumel, and we are staying at Occidental Cozumel (www.barcelo.com) an all-inclusive resort located near the south end of the island; Thus the boat rides to the best dive sites are short. The resort has the best beach (San Francisco Beach) in Cozumel as well as two pools two pools, one for adults only. There are four Ala-cart restaurants (one exclusively for Royal level members) and two buffet restaurants. One near the front of the resort is for breakfast and dinner and one near the beach open for lunch as well as for Ala-cart seafood dinners. The three Ala-cart restaurants are (Mediterranean, Mexican, and Seafood). Reservations are required for the Ala-cart restaurants and you are allowed three per week.
