Comments First time I dove Cozumel was back in the '80ies and I'm still coming back to this place almost every year since. Cozumel offers relaxed drift dives (in my opinion the best in the world), exceptional water viz and really beautiful rock formations with plenty of caves, tunnel and so on. Animal life is a little poor compared to other place but is still possible to see huge eagle rays, big green eels, nurse sharks, big turtles, big groupers and barracudas. Big coloured tube sponges are also typical in this area. Roberta's Scuba Shack offers a great level of service, skilled DMs and boat captains. The dive shop has 3 boats (lanchas) from medium size to big ones, offering water, choice of sodas and "pan" (carrot, banana or chocolate cake) during the trip and/or between the 2 dives. Morning trip leaves around 8,30am and returning around 1,30pm. 2 tubs and a shower are also available to rinse the gear with a long rack to dry wetsuits and BCDs before putting them in the lockers room; padlocks are provided by the shop. A very friendly atmosphere is a plus or, as we use to say in Italy, the cherry on the cake !
Enjoy Cozumel, one of my favourite place to dive in the world.
