Comments Returning to Cozumel after 15 years it was fun to get back into the drift diving.
I was blown away by how health the coral, sponges, and fish life was!
We would see multiple varieties of 4 different species of File Fish on most dives.
Since you are drifting by at a quick pace, the coral is not trampled and worn down.
The shore diving at Scuba Club is very limited. Restrictions are in place about how far to the right or left you can go and how far away from the resort towards the deep- there are strong currents so I can see why. We only did 1 or 2 afternoon or night off the shore because the site was so limited. Don't get me wrong- there was lots of stuff in a small area but I can only dive the same small spot in a raging current a few times.
The food was excellent!
Rooms were great
Dive operation was efficient- although I wish they had the fast boats.
I will be back sometime!
