Comments Even though my wife and I have over 800 dives, this was our first trip to Cozumel. The southern reefs were closed while we were there but since we'd never been there before, we didn't know what we were missing. The dive operation was great with safety a priority. The divers were divided in half with a divemaster for around half a dozen people. There are also two deckhands and a captain on the boat. You sign up for dives the day before. There are lockers for your gear but you have to bring your own lock. We were offered 5 days of 2 tank dives. The boat left before 8:30 and took an hour to get to the first dive site. We were back for lunch around 1:30. They offer shore diving which is mostly rubble but with a lot to photograph like eels and yellow rays.
The food was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet. At breakfast you sign up for what you want for lunch and dinner. For lunch, you could get the special or order from the menu. For dinner, there were three choices, seafood, red meat or chicken or vegetarian. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely go again.
