Comments We probably have over 600 dives in Cozumel. A diver on the Arenui just informed us it was 600 too many. I like to go because the water is clean because of the currents. I love the challenge of flying over Cedral Wall or Punta Tunis. I love the sound of the toad fish and their pretty, whiskered mouths peeking out from their mansions. Sadly, there are fewer and fewer of the fish I love, the drum fish. The lionfish are more controlled, but still reeking havoc on the life that once was. Yes, there are too many divers, but at least during COVID we could go. We made 4 trips there over the 2 years. El Cantil is very convenient as we like to walk downtown. Guidos and La Choza are still the places to go. The food is always consistent and good. La Choza has the best deep fried whole snapper. The tortillas are always hot and soft. The pork fajitas are superb. Guidos will make a minestrone soup to die for. They prepare the fish of the day perfectly. We know so many people that it's fun to visit. The crowds of cruise people are annoying. They have been, are and will be destroying this island. We have been with Scuba Du from the beginning. Jorge has been very good to us. Loyalty is important. We've known so many of his employees for so long. Luis, the Viking, is such an amazing sailor. He knows the waters. Willie is a good captain also. Victor has my heart. He takes such good care of our equipment. It's so well cleaned and dry and ready for the next day.

UW Photo Comments The boat really doesn't have any facilities, but it's usually a short ride to the sights. El Cantil has a large tank for soaking the cameras. The condos are well equipped for taking are of the cameras.
