Comments With over 160+ dive operators in Cozumel, picking one to dive with is a daunting task! I have dove with several and seen many more at the surface interval stops and Scuba Life Cozumel is the best operation in Cozumel by far!
They have 2 very comfortable fast boats and a very convenient office right in the new Marina. Their shop/office is in the North building away from the very busy area around the main launch ramp. Just go thru the roundabout and head towards the small 2 story building in front of the newest marina. They keep your gear for you each day, after rinsing it thoroughly and hanging in the back drying room of their office/storefront.
JP, Carlos and Captain Marcelo have built a fantastic reputation with all 5 star TripAdvisor ratings. They are very passionate about giving you a wonderful dive experience each and every dive. They provide dry towels to each diver, wonderful fresh fruit, snacks, water and Gatorade for your surface interval. Their boats are very nice, fast, well maintained, nice bimini, and plenty of dry storage for your gear. If you need rental gear they have ScubaPro regulators, Mare BCDs and nice masks and fins. Nitrox is available as well for an additional $8/tank.
Diving with Scuba Life Cozumel is a wonderful experience and the guys really know the best dive sites, where the cool critters reside and they spend lots of time with you identifying what you saw.
Booking with Scuba Life is easy as they are very prompt about responding to you via email or phone. JP and Carlos speak very good english, and are set up to accept payment with pesos, cash or credit card (for a small additional fee). You will need to request Nitrox the day before as well.
Give Scuba Life Cozumel a try on your next trip, and I am pretty darn sure you will use them every trip going forward!
