Comments | This was our 10th trip to Cozumel We rented a condominium just south of town and dove with Tres Pelicanos. They have small fast boats, and take your gear, (wetsuits, booties, bcs included) back to the shop, you are responsible for computers and regs. This service multiple dive operations I reached out to would not commit to, even for an extra fee. This is important if you are not staying at a dedicated dive resort or a place without facilities, your gear is a pain in the ass. We were picked up promptly every morning and taken to the marina via their vehicle. Getting on and off these small boats in a well protected environment is much better than suffering the vagaries of wave and surge at your resorts pier. We were allowed to dive freely once the staff had established our skill set. We were also given great flexibility for doing 1 or 2 afternoon dives without booking days in advance. This may be do to the slow season (June) but the office could not have been more accommodating. The staff made no effort to pressure us for tips that they certainly deserved. We are going back in October and will happily give Tres Pelicanos more of our money. | ||
