Comments First off lets begin by saying we love the diving in Cozumel. We have been a number of times but each time we are always challenged by the currents and thrilled with the underwater seascape and life! Another trip in the books we were on the island from April 13 - 29th, 2018. We really like the We B Divin crew and the boat - Yucab III. Although the boat is large and can accommodate a lot of divers they rarely do so you really are treated to a cadillac service both in and out of the water. Our DM was Yasseur, Captain Moses and Deckhand Otto - all gems! The boat has a head and fresh water shower to rinse off after your dives. They also provide water, pop and great food (picco de gallo, guac, sandwiches and fruit) for the surface intervals. We met the crew at the marina but they are happy to pick divers up from resorts as well. Seeing the Captain, Moses pull out of the tiny slip is a thing of beauty in itself and really instills confidence in his abilities. Deck hand Otto was attentive and helpful getting us in and out of the water and preparing lunch! A jack of all trades to be sure! Probably shouldn't rave about them so much as if everyone discovers them we might not be able to get on board with them! Never a dull moment with the always professional but fun crew. The boat is comfortable and the crew is top notch. This trip was no exception. We are certified Advanced Open Water Divers and dive with Nitrox. We dove almost every day with just a few days off to volunteer some time at the Orphanage. Lots of really big "regulars" We saw a box fish that was the largest one we have ever seen (think giant parrot fish size!) We did a double take when we spotted him in the overhang of the reef and had to confirm with each other we were seeing what we thought we were. Also saw lots of scorpion fish, toad fish, banded cleaner shrimp, tiny flounder in the white sand (thanks to Yasseur for pointing out that tiny guy!) many large green, and small spotted morays and all the usual suspects. We also saw some of the coral spawning and that is quite a site to behold! Although we were warned that the turtles sightings would be rare due to the time of year we saw multiple turtles on every single dive! One of the days we didn't dive the divers saw a sail fish too! We heard the dolphins but never did see them. Currents were different every day and lots of fun as always. The crew of We B Divin is attentive and happy to take the group to dives sites that are appealing and challenging to the majority. We have never felt that they would ever take unnecessary risks and when we had inexperienced divers on board they took care of them and made sure that they were comfortable with the each and every dive. Dive briefings are extensive and great for all levels. We had motor trouble on day and even that turned into a grand adventure being towed back to the marina by another one of the big fishing boats.
It was a great day even with that small setback. The boat was up and running the next day and we continued to dive. We will be back in 2019!

UW Photo Comments There is always lots to video or take pictures of and although my hubby takes pictures on almost every dive he did leave the camera top side for several dives so he could simply enjoy diving without worry about fussing with his camera.
