Comments Alex is a great guide and fun to dive with. Someone in our party was having a very hard time the first day and didn't want to dive again. Alex successfully managed to talk them into "getting back on the horse" and had a great diving trip. If there was something specific you wanted to see, he would do what he could to find it for you. The diving was easy, not very challenging if that's what you're after. I should say that he does dive a site where a WWII era Corsair that is about 100 ft or so, but that wasn't on the itinerary when we were there. The wetsuits he provided had been rode a little hard but were usable. He doesn't have his own boat but contracts them. It was a good boat and they provided store bought sandwiches and snacks between dives. Alex gave a good dive briefing but there wasn't any kind of boat briefing-that's a pet peeve of mine when I haven't been on the boat before but the crew and captain were helpful. We have recommended Alex to others and they have given us glowing reports of is service also. I have no problem using him again when/if we return to Honolulu.
