Comments Very accommodating and cheerful crew, service attitude outstanding. Took all of our gear, cleaned and rinsed each day as well as after we were finished diving (3 days). Discount for multi-day diving. Very safety conscious, more than helpful getting in and out of the water. They were terrific with inexperienced divers in the group and sincerely tried to split up groups by experience. However, a mix of Discover Scuba divers and a range of experience among certified divers meant that all certified divers were lumped as a group and the lowest common denominator limited dives. Dive sites for all 3 days were no further than 15 minutes from Honokohau Harbor. Were the dives pleasant and dive staff extremely helpful? Yes, certainly. Were the dives exciting or did they attempt to showcase any of Kona's famous big animals beyond the dolphins at the harbor? No. We did like Big Island's staff, their attitude and professionalism. However, the diving is limited by their business strategy and dive site selection. It's their business, and we might dive with them again, but experienced divers will generally want more. As former Aloha Dive (no longer in business) customers, it was a letdown.
