Comments This was our 5th trip diving with Capt Bruce. Dove with Randy and his crew for 6 days - 2 tank day dives out of Wainaie on the West side of O'ahu. Shuttle will pick up anyone in the Waikiki area - 45min drive is always entertaining when Alan is driving. Winter diving on O'ahu = choppy, strong currents, and shore breaks that limit sites. We were only able to dive Makaha caverns (lots of lava tubes/turtles/white tips/macro life) once due to 6-8ft surf. Mostly deep wrecks (Mahi, LC, deep LC, 29 "all around", airplane canyon) - current was ripping but calmed down at the end of the week. Saw dolphins & humpback whales everyday - one day we had a baby, mom, & male humpback 20yds off the stern for almost an hour. School of over 20 spotted eagle rays were seen on 3 days. White tips a few times. 20in puffer fish schooling on the Mahi wreck. Leaf scorpions, titan scorpions, frog fish, shrimp, sponge crab, dragon wrasse, huge sea turtles, barracuda, Jacks, Eels of every variety, octos - tons of life - big and tiny

Randy & crew have an excellent reputation - most of the divers are repeat customers. They run a Jet boat with a hot shower, yummy snacks. Christy, Alan, & Cam are excellent guides who can find anything you ask to see. They do take newbies, but separate divers based on experience. We were able to dive our own profiles but sticking with the guides gets you the best photo ops. The crew will set up/break down/rinse/store your gear for the week. Highly recommended.
