Comments Ed Robinson runs a solid operation; they do a great job accommodating more experienced divers. 4 to 6 people on his boat while we dove.

You could dive on your own, or follow around great dive masters like Joe, who were just critter finding machines.

That said, as an avid diver, I would always dive a couple of days if I were in Maui, but probably wouldn't come to Maui specifically to dive. We saw a couple of white tip sharks on the back side of Molikini. Dove the WWII Hellfire wreck ... pretty cool way to spend a 1/2 tank. Saw an eagle ray, LAYING IN THE SAND AT A CLEANING STATION! (not a Stingray, an EAGLE RAY!) ... have never seen that before. At the same dive site, there were two of the largest sea turtles just lounging on the bottom ... maybe 4' long. Cool little critters like Hawaiian Lion Fish, leaf scorpin fish, nudibranchs, and harlequin shrimp.

Ed Robinson does a good job diving some less visited sites, accommodating advanced divers while maintaining reasonable and sensible boundaries. I'd certainly recommend his operation.
