Comments Jessie and Nick operate a 28-foot closed-cabin center console, capped at 6 divers. I went with them and two friends on a private charter to Lehua Rock, off the island of Ni'ihau. The crossing from Kauai was impressively captained, and much shorter and calmer than I expected, with plenty of dolphins along the way. But what made the diving so spectacular was just the sheer number of Hawaiian monk seals and sandbar sharks on every one our dives. Hawaii isn't known for its wall diving, but the site Vertical Awareness completely blew me away, while Neon Cave was a close second. My three dives with them that day are the best I've done in Hawaii (including off the Big Island, Maui, Molokai and Lanai), and among the best I've done anywhere in the world.
