Comments	I did quite a bit of research of previous reviews plus had previous experience with other operators (with regards to Hawaii - Big Island). In my opinion Kohala Divers had the best overall reviews along with one other operator. My big concern was the potential freedom of having some independence to take UW photos. You should be aware no operators permit solo diving when you are on a boat trip. Shore diving is another matter. The only away around this is hiring a private guide which is very expensive now. Kohala Divers dive guides follow a nice relaxed pace which pretty much allow a diver a reasonable amount of freedom to easily take UW pictures. I made 5 (two dive)dive trips with them where our bottom time averaged about 1 hour per dive with moderate depths of 70 feet or less. The operators took reasonable Covid and other safety precautions. Charging batteries are not an issue as I did all at the Hotel before departing on each days boat trip. Overall they were well organized and a pleasure to dive with and I plan on returning to dive with them next year.

UW Photo Comments	Don't plan on bringing full size DSLRs due to limited rinse tank size. Small Mirrorless set ups are fine. The crew does an excellent job of handling and care of cameras.
