Comments [None]Resort was clean and large enough, though falls short on amennities. It is on a golf course and apx. 30 min. drive to dive shop. Our friends stayed at Kona Hilton which is the place to be. The 2 highlights of this trip were the night dive with feeding manta rays (not to be missed!) and dolphins galore! During our surface interval we soptted a large pod and headed them off. We donned our snorkel gear and 3 pods with 100's of dolphins passed right through us, though they did not interract, it was a stunning experience. Other than that, some interesting points were lava tubes and lava canyons, Several species of moorays such as white mouth, zebra and margins, colorfull nudibranches, moorish idols, triggers and surgeonfish were aboundant. Currents were strong at times, I suggest weighting heavier than normal.
