Comments In 30 years of diving, this is the best run operation I've ever experienced. Boat is clean and stable catamaran with room for up to 12 divers. When you get to the dock, they take your equipment and set up/breakdown, wash and store it for the duration. Lots of help getting on gear and getting you in the water. During our four days of diving, there were three DMs who each had no more than four people. You could go off by yourself but we chose to stay with Kerry (owner) who was terrific at finding the critters. First time Pacific diving and we were overwhelmed and thrilled with all the new stuff! Many types of fish, including the endemic black subspecies of the long-nose butterflyfish. Healthy reefs, lots of fish and juveniles, octopus, lobsters, shrimp, and a white-tipped reef shark. DMs excellent at dive profile discussions and explaining fish behavior; however, not enough emphasis on reef protection (i.e., don't touch coral, don't harass the critters).

Supplied a variety of drinks (soda, juices, water) and snacks (cheddar fish, trail mix, finger sandwiches) and can accommodate dietary restrictions.

Shaggy (Tim) provided excellent help for getting you back on board (camera, fins, weight belt handoff) and helped remove BC in water so no strain on backs/knees climbing up the ladder. Other two captains less helpful. No camera table which was a bit of a problem for me.

We stayed at a B&B - Hale Maluhia due to proximity to KDC. Don't bother - it was filthy. See review on TripAdvisor.
