Comments [None]This is truly an amazing dive experience. It is not for the meek or inexperienced. The boat goes out from Kona 3-4 miles in 6000-8000 feet of water. The divers are on a 45' long rope tether, attached to the boat. 6 divers max., each with a tether. Then each diver has a 12-15' long tether attached to your bcd and the main tether. Each diver is given a powerful LCD light.Backroll into the water and the fun begins. You are watching am amazing feeding frenzy, all sorts of strange creatures venture up from the depths to feed. Lots of jellies and other gelatinous type things. We had 3 small pods of dolphins feeding on squid 3-4' below the surface. I saw numerous things with colored lights in them. Check it out on the website. It is bizarre and an experience not to be soon forgotten.Andy was a great divemaster and he videoed the dive.
