Comments	I had never had the opportunity to try a scooter dive (DPV) and it looked like fun. A friend suggested Maui Dreams and they did a great job. Zack was the dive leader/instructor and did a through job explaining the scooter operation, the issues with a fast surface and generally how to control the beast. The parking lot was close to the shoreline so the walk carrying the scooter was short. We started in shallow water and did simple skills like up/down and small circles, towing a diver with a failed scooter and then headed off to a nearby wreck. It was clearly way too far for a normal surface swim, but the scooters made the approach underwater easy. All in all, a good operation and great fun. I'll sure do it again.
