Comments Mike Severns Diving is an extremely good outfit that caters to small groups of divers with individual interaction. The staff was absolutely wonderful to work with. Andy the captain was a one man comedy act, but took the safety issues seriously. Warren was an excellent dive master. They took time to point out the critters if we wanted to look. They also took pains to get us to the dive sites we wished to see, instead of automatic trips. We were allowed to dive our own profiles, with proper safety arrangements made for unevenly paired divers on air time that didn't penalize the longer air diver.
They made a special trip to the southeast end of Maui past Makena that only is calm a few times a year. They advised us it was calm that day and gave us the choice to go. Of course we did.
This is a don't miss dive outfit that caters to serious divers who would rather not go on a 'cattle drive'.
They don't harass the wildlife, and all in all provided a very nice dive experience. One of the best outfits that I have ever dived with.
A huge switch from Lahaina Divers and some of the other larger outfits. Dive Makai on the Big Island is another fantastic dive team, also. These two are very similar.
