Comments Boat holds max twelve divers broken into two groups of six based on experience. The boat has a marine head and plenty of room although lacking in dry storage area. Leaving the small boat harbor in Kehei at 6:15 am gets divers into water early before trade winds affect visibility. There is a large selection of food items and drinks so you don't need breakfast before the early departure. Three tank dives include lunch. DM's speak to each individual to accommodate special interests/requests and diver ability. DM Warren gave detailed site specific briefings and took time under water to ensure all divers had an opportunity to see critters - including day octopus nest and eggs. Warren’s enthusiasm for rare critter siting is contagious underwater as was the case when a reticulated butterflyfish swam by. Always on the lookout for large marine mammals either en route to dive sites or during surface intervals kept things moving and fun between dives. On one surface interval the boat captain googled items of interest from his cell phone. Last dive of three tank dive day visibility dropped to about 40 feet. I did not make time to look at Mike Severns web page before trip and wish I had as it contains good descriptions of their dive sites and specialty dives. www.mikesevernsdiving.com
