Comments First two days diving were the usual Kauai sites - Day 1, viz was pretty low, diving at Turtle Bluffs and other nearby site - did see the turtle feeding station with a few waiting their turn; Day 2, viz at Turtle Bluffs was worse, but viz and dive was better at Sheraton Caverns; Day 3 was the Ni'ihau trip - have done this previously and this was the best diving day of the six days of diving (between Maui and Kauai) - pristine, deep sites/wall dives by the rock - before we pulled up, a Manta Ray was sited and we jumpted in with snorkels, and had a close encounter; once we tied up, a curious Hawaiin Monk Seal came looking, and joined us on one of the dives as well; sharks on dive 1 and 2 here - especially on second dive - a few sandbar sharks were parading around and checking us out.

Seasports is a friendly operation; decent boat (except for the head), meals were limited (better on the Maui - Lahaina Divers operation), except for the long day diving at Ni'ihau. Dive masters were professional, safety conscious, good briefings -- my second time going with Seasports.

Hyatt was terrific - am Diamond status, stayed on points, and was upgraded to ocean front room; all staff friendly. Good Italian restaurant. In the nearby shopping center (by the Poipu circle) there is a new 'tapas' restaurant - very creative dishes, and highly recommended.
