Comments Back to CCV for two weeks. The weather was fair, but the water was unusually warm for November (83 degrees); did not need the wetsuit. The dive operation is great. The DMs are knowledgeable and skilled. They are very safety minded also. The boats are not quick, but were built to be great dive boats with easy exit, enter; lots of storage space and shade if needed. I was on the blue boat and Jessie and Ruben did a great job. Jessie knows all the dive sites very well and can find all kinds of fish and critters. Ruben does everything possible to keep you comfortable and safe. The boats are well maintained. Most of the sites are short boat rides, Mary's Place and Calvins Crack are longer rides, but well worth it. The rooms are good (small frig, lock box for valuables, good A/C); the internet works ok.
The food continues to get better; the restaurant manager always has a nice selection of items at each meal. The soups are outstanding and the cookies are real good.

The diving is so easy. Two boat dives each day with optional drop off dives. The short diving is 24 hours a day and night dives in the front yard is terrific, there is always something unusual to see. My tank fills were on the money and dive shop helped me out with a couple of small problems I had. Everyone is so helpful in making sure your trip is fun and your diving safe, yet exciting. I will return asap.
