Comments | Return trip to CoCoView. I know what I am getting. Good boats, great dive masters/captains (Jesse/Rueben); both are knowledgeable/helpful and great attitudes. They know the sites and can find the critters. On day, our boat had mechanical problems, but still got the dives in as we got towed to the site and our boat was up and running the next day. Diving is as challenging as you want it to be. The dive operations run very smooth, from the equipment area/rinse tanks to the schedule the boats run. 24/7 diving; boat dives, drop off dives, shore diving and special shark/dolphin events. Great value for the money if you take advantage of it. Very good photo/dive shop operations. Rooms are basic, clean and A/C works; maid service very efficient. The "no see ums" can be controlled with deet (works for me). The new manager, Liz, will continue to improve the resort without losing its charm. The food continues to improve; you really look forward to dinner/lunch (buffet style) while breakfast is cooked to order if you like. CoCo View is for divers, it is not a resort that can handle divers. It's not really a place for small children as far as activities for them. COCO VIEW IS FOR DIVERS WHO ENJOY DIVING. You also meet great people from all around the US and world; sitting around during meals or at the bar trading stories/experiences is a great time. Most of the people you meet at the resort are return divers. They know a good deal and a good time when they see it. Checking in/out is very easy, they take care of your return boarding passes, etc. I will be going back. | ||

UW Photo Comments | Boats set up well for photographers; dive masters very helpful/considerate. DM strived to find photo ops while not neglecting other divers. Rinse tanks on board and dive shack. |
