Comments The Good . . the BAD . . the UGLY . . . well I will tap into this at the end . . but lets say DELTA is not on ANY of my future travel plans.

This was my second (and will not be my last trip) to Coco View and I can see why it is rated as one of the most returned to dive locations around !!!
Roatan has some very nice diving to offer and the freedom you get while at Coco View to "DIVE YOUR BRAINS" out if you so wish is fantastic. We used "gesser gas" (Nitrox) all week and loved the ease of its availability! There dive boats are very nice as well, spacious and easy to move around, and there MOON entrances are great when the boats a rock-in and roll-in !! Meals were always plentiful and varied. Only problem I had was trying to leave room at night for the DESERTS . . YUMMM !! I have stayed in Bungalow's both times, but I think I will try the Cabanas next time after seeing a room (Bungalow's and Cabanas are over the water). All are very clean and air conditioned.
Five dives a day is very easy to do (two morning and afternoon boat dives . . and a great night dive in there own front yard!) The Prince Albert (140 ft freighter) is sitting out there within easy shore reach. WE did sign up for the SHARK DIVE . . . would recommend it if you like up close and personal with SHARKY and his buddies !!

Now . . . one last recommendation, the first year we flew down through Houston and onto Roatan on CONTINENTAL . . no problems to speak of. But . . this trip we tried DELTA (through Atlanta). . well trip down was OK . . but coming home . . TOTAL DISATER !! I recommend Continental (and make it the early morning flight, that way you can get your checkout dive done upon arrival at Coco View).

Check out Coco Views web sight and you can find answers to almost any question you may have. Would highly recommend this resort to ALL divers, new and old !!

UW Photo Comments All boats had great camera tables and specific camera buckets. Crew were very good at handling all cameras. Not to many large critters, but LOTS of macro to be found. The DM's are fantastic for finding the UNFINDABLE !!
