Comments Booked with my buddy's dive shop & didn't bother to read reviews until just a couple of weeks before the trip. Resort needs lots of $$ put into it for repairs. Boat dock literally rotting away & had to watch out not to put a foot through a hole. Dive boat was obviously contracted by resort, but resort manager, Shirley, insisted that we give the tips to her. I got the feeling she used them for paying for the boat hire. Two divemasters, but one was only along for the ride and did nothing. The boat captain was more helpful. Had to take ALL personal gear off the boat every day and lock in a shed on the dock. Only one rinse tank that got quite dirty fast. No camera rinse, no camera table. Stuff didn't dry overnight and, reload everything next day on the boat for diving. Where I've been, I've been spoiled with the service, especially on live aboards. Dining room/lounge not air conditioned. Shower, toilet and room air conditioner all needed repair. Bring your own towel for boat. My buddy found a scorpion on her wetsuit when she got home. Food was acceptable - just. Very hot and humid for me in March. No whale shark sightings which was the main reason for selecting this destination.

UW Photo Comments I have a small point and shoot. Would not recommend a SLR set up as they didn't seem to have facilities for anyone with a professional type set up. No rinse tank for cameras, no place on the boat for cameras.
