Comments Reef House has new management last 6 months. Dave & Davey are Superb and very accomodating to your every need. Dave is a world-class Chef with broad experience. We had the BEST meals we've ever had at ANY resort/hotel in 100's of travel experiences the past 25 yrs. We had FRESH LOCAL Food -- fish, lobster, fruit, vegetables. We had Homemade just baked Cookies every afternoon and desserts after dinner. Where else would U get homemade noodles, tortillas, and salsa chips; fresh cilantro. Food alone is worth the trip. Dive operation is most professional and was a great experience for both of us. David and Chocco were fabulous and helped me get my scuba equipment repaired when breakdown occurred; David exchanged masks with me when mine would not unfog and leaked; he fixed it that night. Bottom line - this is an outstanding place for folks who want to DIVE and like quiet sea views and nice folks and picturesque local villages.

Interesting to hear! We've been there twice, loved it, and have another trip booked for this summer. New management can mean anything though, so I hope there's no change in the great dive op, which is the main reason we go (and we only go to small quiet places, sounds like that's still true?). Do you know what happened to Mike? Are the new managers the owners? Are they divers? Sounds like the food is a focus for them...I certainly look forward to nice meals, but I hope that hasn't changed the attention paid to diving. The staff there was always a big plus - long term which suggests paid/treated well. I'm glad to hear David the DM and Choco the captain are still there. others? Thanks for any info you can pass along.
