Comments These folks are one of my favorites to dive with on Roatan and I've been doing it for close to 8 years. This trip I was completion the instruction for a Open Water Instructor candidate as well as teaching his wife and son for their open water diver certifications.

This small family run dive business is both a PADI and SSI dive center as well as Instructor Training Center and you won't find better professionals. The husband has been a PADI Platium Course Director and from England. His wife is a local woman and you won't find a better Dive Master (she is an Assistant Instructor and great underwater photographer) and knows the reefs of Roatan like the back of her hand.

Everything but the actual dive is done for you. Whether you are off a cruise ship, down for a few days or even weeks, Roatan Dive Center is there to help you enjoy your stay.

On this trip, we leased a AirBnB at Palmetto Bay Resort which was less than 100 yards to the beach or to their restaurant/bar/pool. It was just a 10 minute drive over the top of Roatan to get to the dive shop.

I have been diving the reefs of Roatan for 10 years and they are in far better condition than prior to COVID. This island has a lot to offer you besides diving but exploring it's underwater world is why I go back again and again. My good friends Gary and Mary always take care of the customers I send down to them and not one has had a negative complaint about their visit.

UW Photo Comments They don't really do must in accomodating UWP but will care for your equipment when unattended. In truth, as UWP we really want to take care of it ourselves. I've found that they will do everything they can to assist our needs.
