Comments This was my third trip to Panama to dive with Jimmy .He owns a remote place that is for people who are adventure driven and who want peace, quiet , relation , exercise and outdoor fun. I would definitely get a car since you are out in the boonies-make a that a 4WD .
I have always stopped at the grocery store about 45 min away and stocked up on fresh veggies and fruits and other foodstuffs that I like . The food used to be horrible but it is getting better. Eggs, toast & fruit for breakfast, leftover protein & salad at lunch , protein and salad and starch at dinner. Bring your own protein bars & snacks along with extra water or wine & beer. We had fresh caught crab & lobster daily. They usually have steaks, chicken & fish in the freezer. Vegetarians may have a tough time. Jimmie's 5 cabins all have hot water and he is building a larger hotel-the pool is in now. The diving is simple but first class and they cater to your needs. The seas are flat in August & Sept , the best time to go .I wore my 3/5 m wetsuit and was very comfortable. Jimmy allowed my mom to come out on the boat with no extra charge. Awesome fish life and coral , no bleaching. Jimmy is one of a kind. A dive master ,teacher, friend ,musician & environmentalist .A truly unique experience,I dove for 5 days- 2 dives in the am , no night dives.
