Comments Great operation based in South Padre Island, Texas.
One hour boat ride in a comfortable, air conditioned boat. Breakfast taco's provided. Water and soft drinks also provided.
Crew tied off, set deco lines.
Buddy plan strictly enforced.
Wreck of the Liberty Ship starts at 70'.
Very large Amberjack's, Rays, and Snapper. Schools of fish, both inside and outside the wreck. An abundance of different kinds of coral, and Hydroids! Not much fire coral, but a lot of bristle worms.
Lionfish inside the wreck.
Second dive encountered strong current, that was causing "Issues" with the OW divers.
This is an advanced dive, and should be considered as one. Several people had out of air experiences due to their lack of experience in Blue open water diving.
A professional, well run operation. However, IMHO, it should be restricted to AOW divers and above with at least 25 dives.
