Comments Great operation as I have been on this boat for several 3 and 4 day trips out to the Channel Islands. Always had a great experience on this boat. Good food, decent sleeping in your snug bunk below deck. The bunks are either single or doubles with a curtain to pull across for privacy. Good a/c and other than the rumble of the diesel motors it is cool and pretty comfortable.
There is a large dive deck, entry is typically giant stride off the side or you can go off the back if you need more help. Jerry the captain knows the waters very well and is a wealth of information. Diving can be chilly depending on where you go in the islands. Typically in summer water temps are high 50's to mid 60's. There is usually quite a bit of kelp and sometimes can be limited visibility. Also diving along the shorelines you tend to experience some surge as well. Lots to see usually though as the kelp and life is quite abundant in the marine protected areas.

UW Photo Comments Photo only rinse tank and the crew will take your camera and lower it to you once you enter the water and take it from you as you come up after the dive. Not a dedicated camera table but you can work on it in the main galley after it is dry.
