Comments Found out about Force-E through an undercurrent reader rpt. Called their shop in Pompano Beach. Extremely friendly and pro advice from Erin, who immediately set us up with a good boat (South Florida Divers, Cap'n Mike was fantastic) at a discount price to South Florida's own web site. Brought our ponies to them 0800 and they filled them up immediately. Great shop and gear service, very friendly and knowledgeable. They are like a Travelocity service for the local dive boats, they know which boats are going where, and when South Florida didn't have space for us on day 2, Force-E immediately found us another quality dive operation (Parrot Island, also great svc, though their Fish Food boat had bad diesel fumes). The diving in this area was excellent! Good currents to deal with, and only about 30-40 viz on our two days, but both boats put you in the water with a dive flag marker float, you drift your own dive on your own profile, and they pick you up at the end. No scuba police, maximum do your own thing! Went to Sea Emperor and The Barge wreck sites, and both were outstanding. Lots of coral cover, good fish life, fun penetrations. Sea Emperor greated us with a 4+ ft ray at the downline, apparently a regular visitor. This area's diving was extremely fun, and really caught me by surprise. As I mentioned, it's a good idea to be comfortable with current and diving your own profile. I will definitely be back, especially to see all of the wreck sites.
