Comments	Goliath Grouper first dive, after over 1 hour delay due to two mechanical delays with the boat. Some drama because a few inexperience divers were hesitant about the current on the dive and wanted instead to do an easier reef dive. Several of us vigorously objected (I had flown in from Seattle for this) and after talking to the owner, he agreed the boat was designated to do the Grouper dive. Because of the delay we ended up, fortunately, being able to go to the superior Grouper dive site, which turned out to be fantastic. The 200-600lb. gentle giants aren't afraid of divers and don't get spooked if you sidle up to them and act like your'e in the school. Fantastic experience, about a 100 meter long dive site with multiple pylons they hang out at. Second dive a drift reef dive, saw several sharks cruising, fair numbers of tropicals; funny red seaweed floating throughout the water column. Next day we did Blue Heron Bridge shore dive, fantastical aberration in FL--like a muck dive in Indonesia. Seahorses, nudibranchs, squid, small octopus, flounders, tiny shrimp & crabs of several species. A delight. Only about 60 minutes possible because it can only be done at slack tide. Had good viz, which is not always the case--last time I tried to dive it, the water was green and we had to call off the dive.
