Comments We signed up for a five-day package with Jupiter Scuba Diving and did 12 dives on Kyalami, plus a Wednesday black water dive with Walkers Dive Charters.
I got seasick the first trip, one Bonine was not enough.
We saw loggerhead turtles, a few sharks, angelfish, Atlantic spade fish, goliaths, parrotfish, a hawksbill, and porcupinefish.
The underwater landscape is deep ledges, 70-80 feet. Jupiter is outside the range of tropical corals, but there were gorgonians and rock crevices with interesting small creatures. Bring a dive light to peek under the ledges.
The black water dive was impressive. The dive guide placed a lighted buoy in the water. We all entered and drifted in the Gulf Stream at about 40 feet for over an hour. The tiny pelagic creatures are beautiful.
Excellent, safe, and well-run outfitters. We will use Jupiter Scuba Diving and Walker’s Dive Charters again.
