Comments Booked a bunch of dives about 6 weeks prior to our trip, but only a few days before the merger (with Rainbow Reef, I believe) - so they could have warned us. A few days before we were to arrive we're informed they no longer do night dives on the days we booked. Not impressed with such late notice, we scrambled to find another operator. We did end up doing a night dive with them later in the week and glad we did, though that was due more to the location (Molasses Reef) than the dive shop - The boat held about 10-15 divers (and could accommodate many more), so this is not an intimate experience.
To their credit, they split the group among 2 dive masters, so my dive buddy and I were with only about 4-5 others most of the dive. The captains safety briefing and the briefing about the dive were entertaining and good. And, just to be fair, this was the best night dive my buddy and I have ever done - sharks, eels, lobster, octopus, ray, and the water had bioluminescence, to boot!
