Comments My buddy and I have dived in Key Largo/Islamorada area several times. This was the first time we used Rainbow Reef Dive Center. We were very impressed with their operation. Boats were clean and well maintained. Crew and other staff went out of their way to be helpful. Service was far better than we have received on other boats. Their boats are large (42') so they hold a number of divers which can be one downside. But they are so well organized that it wasn't a problem. They provide guides but you do not have to use them if you don't want to. We tend to use the guides - especially on the reef dives - so that we can concentrate on looking for things without worrying about navigating.
We were lucky to see a number of nurse and reef sharks which can be iffy in the Keys. Did a double dip on the Spiegel Grove and one dive on the Duane along with reef dives - eight dives in two days.
