Comments I dove with Walker's Dive charters on 2 separate days in April 2021. On both days we had the same crew, Michelle and Autumn. Both gave good and thorough safety and dive site review, with hand-drawn maps. Walker's is a good diver operation overall, but especially good for more advanced divers. They enforce a dive-time limit, but otherwise allow divers to dive their own profile if they wish. On both days that announcement was made that "You are all certified divers so you are responsible for your own dive profiles!" But in both cases, one of the crew dove with the divers, and if a less-experienced diver wanted to, he or she could stay with the crew member/dive leader. Both dive leaders did a nice job directing divers around the dive sites and looking for animal life. On both days I saw sharks, identified as lemon and bull and after one dive, someone else on the boat reported seeing a hammerhead. We also saw moray eels, loggerhead turtles. I, slightly away from the group, also saw a small spotted eel making its way across the reef.

All dives are drift dives. On both days I surfaced alone on at least one dive, deployed my signal and was promptly picked up by the boat, expertly piloted by the captain.

When booking, the address is given as 200 E. 13th ST, Riviera Beach. that is simply the address for the marina, NOT the boat. There is no Walker's Dive Charter office at the marina, just the boat. My suggestion would be to drive towards the southern end of the parking lot, near 12th ST. There is a ferry that takes people to and from Peanut Island, an island that is a public park just offshore. Walker's boat, named "The Wetter the Better" is going to be close to the ferry.

All in all, Walker's is a very good operation. It's a little loose, so you don't feel that someone's directing your every step, but in no way did they seem to compromise on safety. And they're prices are good! For a 2-tank dive (air), and weights, I paid about $118. I think the breakdown is $95 for the trip, and then $10/tank (again, this is air. Nitrox costs more). I will definitely be using them again.
