When Undercurrent subscriber Carl Rutherford (Redmond, Washington) was diving with Jack's Diving Locker off Hawaii's big island, his Oceanic computer went on the blink -- bad luck. But, Rutherford explained to me, things made a quick turn for the better after Jack's made a quick call to the Oceanic rep. Even though it was on Martin Luther King Day, by the next afternoon he had a brand-new Data Max Pro. They didn't even wait to get his computer before overnighting a new one. Carl's computer was still under warranty -- super service and no charge. That's a thumbs up for both Jack's Diving Locker and Oceanic.
